In the period from October to December 2024, the Directorate for Electronic Health actively participated as part of the working group established by the Minister of Health to conduct trainings for directors of public health institutions. This working group aimed to strengthen the capacities of directors by organizing trainings for various modules, with a special emphasis on the role of director in the My Termin system.
Focus of the trainings:
The main topic of the trainings was to familiarize and improve the directors with all aspects of electronic records that are regulated under the Law on Health Protection (LHP), and which are the direct responsibility of the managers of public health institutions. The trainings covered the following points:
Review of the legal obligations for electronic maintenance of medical documentation and registers.
Data management through the National System for Electronic Records in Health – My Termin.
Responsibilities for ensuring the accuracy, regularity and security of data entered into the system.
Analysis of the role of directors in ensuring compliance with national standards for digitalization of the health sector.
Training objectives:
The aim of the training was to improve the knowledge and understanding of directors about the importance of electronic records, to strengthen their awareness of the significance of proper health data management, as well as to create a system that guarantees high efficiency and transparency in the operation of public health institutions.
Implementation methodology:
The trainings were conducted through a combined approach of theoretical lectures and interactive practical exercises. The directors were presented with real examples from practice, and sessions were held to exchange experiences between participants, in order to better identify and resolve potential challenges in using the My Termin system.
