The Importance of the PAP Test

The PAP test is a simple, painless and effective method for detecting abnormal changes in the cells of the cervix. Early detection of these changes allows for timely intervention and treatment, which significantly reduces the risk of developing cancer. Regular testing is of utmost importance, because cervical cancer often has no visible symptoms in the early stages, but can be successfully prevented if detected on time.
