The National System for Electronic Health Records – My Appointment was introduced in 2011 in order to enable monitoring of the lists of scheduled examinations and interventions in a certain number of institutions.

In 2012, the system began to be upgraded and covers all segments of healthcare in the network of healthcare institutions, through the implementation of the modules for E-referral and E-prescription, thus growing into a fully integrated information system that unites data from institutions at all levels of healthcare. In the following years, the system is continuously upgraded and improved.

The My Appointment system is used by approximately 18,000 professional users. Of these, 10,000 are physicians, namely: 4,800 physicians from primary, 3,700 from secondary and 900 physicians from tertiary level of healthcare. The number of institutions that use the system is 3,900.
